Individual Therapy

If you’re seeking individual therapy, you may be wondering how this all works. I believe in being radically genuine with my clients. If I’m asking you to be your real self, then I have to be too. I use a lot of humor, sarcasm, and profanity in my work. I expect my clients to call me out on things that aren’t working for them, and I’m going to call you out too. I consider my clients to be partners on this healing journey. I know therapy, you know you, so we want to pull our knowledge together to see what you individually need. Be warned, I do go into the science of why your body and brain are acting the way they do. I believe having this knowledge increases control and decreases shame.

After having a consultation call to see if we’re the right fit, we start by gathering background on your life, relationships, family, and current stressors. From there, we’ll look into potential diagnoses, create a Treatment Plan together and begin working towards your goals. I teach all of my clients some regulation and grounding skills to keep your body and mind feeling calmer.

My areas of specialty are in complex trauma and PTSD, dissociation and Dissociative Disorders, anxiety, abuse, anger management, bipolar disorder, codependency, domestic violence, and sexual trauma. My fee is $160 per 50 minute session. I also offer intensive EMDR or IFS sessions if desired. I am a Tricare Non-Network Provider and can walk those interested in seeking reimbursement through Tricare through that process.

Couples Therapy

For couples or those in polyamorous relationships seeking therapy, we’ll gather information on your current and past relationships, strengths and growing areas in the relationship you’re in now, and family history to see if there are patterns in why your relationship is causing difficulties now. We’ll also see if past experiences are impacting your current relationship and work on processing those experiences in order to heal promote trust and connection in your relationship now.

My specialties for couples are around relational trauma, communication issues, difficulties connecting, LGTBQIA+ and alternative relationships, infidelity, and troubles with intimacy and sex. My fee for couples is $160 per session.

In premarital counseling, we’ll discuss common arguments and issues couples experience in the first few years of marriage. We’ll work on communication skills, how to “fight fair,” ways to stay connected even during arguments, and how to help each other continue to grow through the years. We’ll also discuss ways to navigate relationships with both families, making sure to keep the your relationship at the forefront. My fee for Premarital Counseling is $160 per session.
